Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The Newseum opens at 9 a.m. — one hour before the Smithsonian museums — so get an early start to the day by putting us first on your itinerary!
Allow two to three hours for a Newseum visit. Guests may return for a second consecutive day for free by showing their previous day’s ticket.
