TOUR SUMMARY
The first stop on the tour is Madison Square Park where the original location of the sports arena Madison Square Garden was, hence the name. In that area there are awesome views of the Flatiron building from movies such as Spider-Man (location of the Daily Bugle Newspaper Headquarters), the MetLife Clock Tower (tallest building in the world from 1909-1913), and the Empire State Building.
The second stop on the tour is Wall St. for views of the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall (the location of the first Capital Building of the United States), Trinity Church, and the Woolworth Building (tallest building in the world from 1913-1928).
The third stop is the World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial. The tour does not include entry into the 9/11 Museum, but visitors will be able to walk around the Memorial and view the waterfalls of "Reflecting Absence," the footprints of where the original twin towers stood, and see the Survivor Tree that survived the destruction of 9/11.
The fourth stop is a Pier 11 for the 12:10pm ride on the New York Watertaxi. This 45-minute guided cruise has a concession stand with various snacks and drinks for purchase. There are views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines and bridges (the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges), Governor's Island, Ellis Island, and a stop in front of the Statue of Liberty for a great photo opportunity.
The fifth stop is at Central Park West and 72nd St. in front of the Dakota Building (where Beatles star John Lennon lived) and includes a short walk into the park to see the Imagine mosaic dedicated to Lennon as well of views other sites in the area such as the luxury condominiums where various celebrities live .
The 6th stop is Rockefeller Center for views of St. Patrick's Cathedral, the location of the ice skating rink and Christmas Tree, and NBC's Today Show.

The departure time for the Discover NYC tour is 10:00 am. Check-in at the bus no later than 9:30 am. The departure location is 7th Ave. between 50th and 51st Street.
