What’s new at Whiteface this season:
Bear Den Mountain

Our learn to ski & ride area is now 100% covered by snowmaking

Trail Widening
Both the Upper Valley (intermediate) and the Wilmington (intermediate) trails have been widened. The Upper Valley Trail, which is located off of the Facelift Chair, has been widened by 25 feet to the skiers' right, while more space has also been added to the skiers' right of the Wilmington Trail's long straight-away, just ahead of the Lookout Below trail.

Base Lodge Expansion
Our team has reconfigured a large portion of the entryway to increase fluidity of movement for our guests during peak visitation times. The new, more open floor plan should ensure more comfortable movement throughout the lodge even on our busiest days. The solarium project is now complete, offering comfortable and convenient seating for up to 100 additional guests in the Base Camp Cafeteria.

Snowmaking
Whiteface continues to build its robust snowmaking network. We've added a new TF-10 fan gun, which can convert 200 gallons of water per minute into snow! This makes the TF-10 one of the most powerful yet quietest fan guns on the market today. Additionally, we've upgraded 54 other snow guns to be up to 60% more efficient.

Grooming
A new PistenBully 600 free groomer has been added to the fleet (now totaling 10). The new cat will facilitate more efficient grooming and better overall snow quality management. Put simply, this means better corduroy for everyone.
