Historic Tours of America® proudly presents the MOST POPULAR night tour in Savannah, one of “America’s
Most Haunted Cities.” Join us for some “FRIGHTSEEINGSM” aboard Old Town Trolley’s Ghosts & GravestonesSM! This “spirited” tour will provide you a light-hearted look at Savannah’s “darker side” as your gravedigger guide shares local tales and legends that are guaranteed to “raise your spirits.” You will be transported throughout the city’s beautiful historic district, where you’ll pass by historic homes, picturesque squares and historic landmarks, learning that this southern belle’s beauty is only skin deep.
The tour features EXCLUSIVE nighttime access to two haunted locations. FIRST is a stop at the Andrew Low House. A beautiful Antebellum mansion owned by the wealthiest man in Savannah. Hear about his life and the spirits that we believe still dwell in this beautiful house. The SECOND stop is at The Perkins and Son’s Ship Chandlery on River Street. River Street is reputed to be one of the most haunted areas of Savannah and in this old warehouse building you will experience firsthand the ghostly tales that haunt this part of town.
Tours depart (seasonally) seven days a week from 7:00R-10:30pm. Departure location is our Simply Savannah Depot located at 301 E. River Street. Closed on Thanksgiving day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Tour times vary depending on the time of year. Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes Age Requirements: The Tour is rated PG-13. No children under 6 allowed. An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18.
Notes: Reservations are required in advance as space is limited for this popular tour. The tour does sell out and ADVANCE securing of reservation is highly advisable. Tour runs most dark and stormy nights so dress appropriately. Part of the tour is walking so wear comfortable shoes.
