The World’s Most Famous Building is a must-see for its Observatory’s spectacular indoor and outdoor 360-degree views from the heart of Manhattan. Be transported while immersed in the rich history as you journey through this Art Deco masterpiece including the landmarked Fifth Avenue lobby and murals. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., along with a gift shop filled with exclusive items, there are eight in-building dining options including the contemporary cuisine of STATE Grill and Bar and Tacombi, an authentic taqueria. Located at the center of it all, the Empire State Building is an easy walk from Times Square and just steps to Macy’s, Madison Square Garden and Penn Station.

Dining: Our signature restaurant, STATE Grill and Bar offers a prix fixe dinner package to Observatory guests with fresh, locally-sourced foods prepared in our glass-enclosed kitchen and unique, local craft beers and cocktails. The flavor and colors of the Empire Lights’Wich, our Instagram-worthy homemade ice cream sandwich, changes to match the Empire State Building’s tower lights each night.
From the balmy beaches of Mexico to the Empire State Building, Tacombi brings warm Mexican hospitality and authentic taco culture to Midtown Manhattan. Tacombi offers a prix fixe lunch and dinner package for Observatory guests. Everything is made from scratch with sustainably-sourced ingredients, including the corn and flour tortillas that roll out all day long from an on-site tortilleria.

Tips:
• Visit when your schedule permits! The Observatory is open until 2 a.m. every night for spectacular skyline and nighttime views. There is no need to rush as the general admission to the Empire State Building Observatory is not a timed event (specialty products excluded)
• Enjoy live music on most Thursday - Saturday evenings after 9 p.m.
• It’s easy to get around when you start at the Heart of NYC: Time’s Square, Macy’s, Madison Square Garden, Penn Station Grand Central Station and more are all within walking distance.
Best time to visit: For more space and less wait, visit between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. or after 10 p.m.

-The Empire State Building is fully ADA compliant.
-Service dogs are welcomed throughout the building.
-Both motorized and non-motorized wheelchairs are permitted. The 86th Floor open air observatory features ramps to make getting around easier. We also provide special viewings areas to permit our wheelchair-bound guests to take in the view.
