The Met presents over 5,000 years of art from every corner of the world for everyone to experience and enjoy. The Museum lives in three iconic sites in New York City – The Met Fifth Avenue, The Met Breuer and The Met Cloisters. Every day, art comes alive in the Museum’s galleries and through its exhibitions and events, revealing both new ideas and unexpected connections across time and across cultures.

Admission to the Museum will continue to be pay-as-you-wish for New York State residents as well as students from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Visitors from outside New York will be required to pay a fixed admission fee. Admission for children under 12 will remain free. The Museum will also now honor full-price admissions tickets for three consecutive days, giving all visitors more time to experience each of the Museum’s three locations: The Met, The Met Breuer, and The Met Cloisters.
