As America’s first drive-through cageless zoo, Lion Country Safari has been a leader in conservation since 1967. Lion Country Safari provides a habitat in which many endangered or threatened species live and reproduce. With 1,000 animals, and 300 acres for them to roam, enjoy traveling in your own vehicle over 4 miles of trail to see seven different sections of the preserve. As each section has its own variety of wildlife, you’re bound to have your safari interrupted by lumbering rhinos or towering giraffes crossing right in front of you - just remember, the animals have the right of way!
When you've completed your wildlife safari through the preserve, park your car and you are off to Safari World, where you'll discover many more exciting exhibits and shows. Enjoy rides and attractions, guaranteed to keep the fun going including animal feedings, a petting zoo, mini golf, paddle boats, and even a carousel! No matter your favorite animal, there’s something for everyone at Lion Country Safari.
